Cotton blazer - Just Jeans
Black denim shorts - Bardot
Tights - Sportsgirl
Boots - Doc Martens
Totebag- Country Road

Sorry for the lack of updates and posting, life has been pretty insanely busy with endless photos editing.
Last weekends were awesome - Clothing Exchange with Lisa and the 'Not So Naked' girls - Amanda & Coco, followed by some opt shoping at Vinnies at Norwood on Saturday, and then church, hanging with my girlies, plus New Moon on Sunday.

New Moon is pretty amazing. Jacob is WOW!

Pardon me for the lack of quality in photos, I guess 30 minutes of brief editing is not exactly too impressive. Pictures were taken with a film camera. NOT!
Gotta get back to work again after getting back from Duke of York. Was nice seeing my lovely models - MC Kris and MC Scotty there =)

Tattoo - Black & White
MUA/Body Art: Aleisha Gannon
Model: Lexy Stevens
Photography: Nichol Brooklyn

And finally, I'm done with the editing of my Hedi Slimane plus film photography inspired black and white shoot. It is indeed yet my another work with minimal equipment, using only natural lighting, with no flash, or studio lighting. Pardon me for the delay, I've been on my photographer's block recently.

Somehow I am getting sick of all these little things - guidelines, rules of thumb, judgements, framing, rules, technicals. And lastly, the unseen general rules in digital photography which states that a good photograph is one that is highly air brushed until the model looks like a 3D porcelain doll. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against air brushing, they are awesome images but I'm currently obsessed with film photography, especially its soft touch and grainy effect in the images. It's just a personal preference =)

It's almost 6am now. Time for bed. Hope that I'm getting my appointment letter soon.

Have a great day! Will post up weekends photos that I took with the Not So Naked girls - Amanda and Chanelle at the BMW Fashion Clothing Exchange soon.

PS: Lexy looks like Angelina Jolie =)
Sorry for the technical difficulties in viewing the pictures this noon, I was supposed to replace the old ones with the newly enhanced ones, but I totally forgot about it while answering a call from Dan of 'And Or With' and rushing to Mark's studio.

I'm not exactly a big fan of one-peice swim suit.
But these lovely handmade swimwears from We Are Handsome
Summer 2009/10 collections are just too hard to resist.

They are the collaboration of Sydney's creative businesses
such as Indhra Chagoury's Oscar & Elvis Swimwear
and Jeremy Somer's People Like Us

They are sold at AUD$180 each.

I personally love The Africa and The Hollywood.

Now it's time for some extra job to cash in for summer shopping spree.

Starving artist for hire here!

And TGIF!!! Hello weekends. Have a great one <3

Parfum

IMG_1612

It has been an insanely tiring day. Had a 5 hours shoot with MUA/ body painting artist Aleisha Gannon of MAKEME DUTCHESS and Zoo Weekly model Lexy Stevens in the day, after rushing my 2500 words essay the night before.

Haven't exactly gone through all the pics yet, but it was definitely good fun working with these two amazing, talented girls <3 <3 <3

The 'tattoo' is actually body painting done by Aleisha using none other that liquid eyeliner. We were planning to do some black & white Hedi Slimane inspired shoot, but things took a massive turn during the shoot. Just gotta love the random surprises of fashion shoot sometimes =)

Stay tune for more updates. Have a great day.

Cheap & Chic

cheap and chic 1

cheap and chic 2

tank top & skirt - Supre
belt - Ice

handbag - Sportsgirl
black sandals - Rubi Shoes
Sunglasses - YSL

Total cost of outfit : less than $70, excluding the overpriced YSL sunnies of course.

Pardon me for the lack of photographical skill and creativity in this post. They're just my quick outfit snapshots before the meeting with the directors at the Studio. The meeting went well, and I just can't wait to be done with uni and start working =)
Guess what? I get to be the stylist too <3

Love the casual, chic & energetic environment.
Had a great weekend hanging with my mates, chilling at the beach and Project 18:00.
Now, I'm back to reality and my 2500 words essays. God bless the archi-slaves.

Can't wait til Wednesday - shooting with the talented MUA - Aleisha Gannon and Zoo Weekly model - Lexy, chilling with my babe before she heads off to Melbourne and Cairns, and hitting Glenelg beach with the St Agnas crew in the evening.

On another note, the full video of Paris Fashion Week is up. Enjoy!

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

As off lately, I'm totally hooked with Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' music video.

It's fantabulous beyond words' description. I totally got blowned away by its avant garde fashion, styling, art direction and concept when i watched it for the first time. Fashion items featured Alexander McQueen, Rachel Barrett, Shinji Konishi, Vava Dudu, Franc Fernandez, Keko Hainswheeler, Benjamin Cho, Jaiden Rva James, Nasir Mazhar, Carrera, Alex Noble and RP Encore.

And yes, if you're a big fan of Alexander McQueen, you will definitely love this video. It's Alexander McQueen overdosed. <3 <3 <3

Read more about the fashion credits from the stylist Nicola Formichetti himself.

On another note, do support 'To Write Love On Her Arms' for a good cause.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

CopsInJeans

CAMICOPSBANNER-1

With the insanely busy schedule which pretty much comprises of final assignment, one flash project, Canon EOS 5 Photo Competition, Facebook is literally my social life and Ebay has become my new shopping ground.

Found this awesome Ebay store by the name of Cops In Jeans and I'm totally a fan now. If you're a big fan of vintage fashion goodies, make sure u check it out! It's a little pricey, but it worth every single penny.

And lastly, something worth to check out during the week:
Dylan & Ryley's House Party @ HQ Complex promo video
FAME Musical (local Adelaidean production)

Have a great week everyone.
